Click Feedback in the top bar, next to Help. Tell us whether something's broken or you want something added, write a line or two, and send. It goes to a person, and we reply to the email address on your account — so you don't need to find a support address or leave the app.
How to send a report
- Click Feedback in the top bar from any screen.
- Choose Something's broken or I want something.
- Give it a one-line summary, then the detail. For a bug, the three things that help most are what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead — plus the item name or number involved, if it's about a specific price.
- Optionally add a screenshot: click Attach a screenshot, or just paste one you've already copied. Paste works anywhere in the form, so on a Mac you can press Cmd-Shift-4, drag over the problem, then Cmd-V.
- Click Send.
Everyone on your team can send feedback — admin, sales, and field techs alike. You need to be signed in, which is what lets us reply to you.
Private feedback or a public review
The Help menu offers What's new for public product updates, Send private feedback for a bug or feature request, and Review Pricebookr on Capterra to share your experience publicly. The update and review links open in new tabs. Everyone gets the same options; you do not need to give a rating or send us feedback before leaving a public review. The review link is also available when a trial or subscription has ended.
Reporting a screen that has crashed
If a screen breaks and shows "Something went wrong on this screen", click Report this on that card. The report carries the underlying error with it, so you don't have to describe what happened — a line about what you were doing when it broke is enough. The rest of Pricebookr keeps working; switching tabs or reloading recovers the screen.
What gets sent with your report
So we can reproduce the problem without a back-and-forth, each report includes:
- Your email address and company name, so we can reply.
- The screen you were on and the page address.
- Your browser version and window size — most layout bugs are specific to one of these.
- Which release of Pricebookr you were running.
- The error itself, if you used Report this on a crashed screen.
Nothing from your price book is included — no items, costs, prices, customers, or team details are attached. If a report is about a specific item, name it in the description.
What happens next
We read every report. You'll get a reply at your account's email address — answer it directly and the conversation continues by email. If a bug is stopping you from working, say so in the report; that changes how we prioritize it.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Why, and what to do |
|---|---|
| No Attach a screenshot button | Image hosting isn't configured on this deployment. Send the report without one and reply with the image attached when we email you back. |
| Send stays greyed out | The summary needs at least a few words and the description a full sentence. Both fill in as you type. |
| "too many requests — try again later" | There's a limit of 10 reports an hour per person, to catch runaway retries. Wait a few minutes, or add the rest to a reply once we email you. |
| Your trial or subscription has expired | You can still send feedback. The Tell us what went wrong link sits under the subscribe screen — and if you stopped because something didn't work, that's exactly what we want to hear. |
FAQ
Can field techs and sales users send feedback?
Yes. Anyone signed in to Pricebookr can send a bug report or feature request, whatever their role. It doesn't require admin.
Does my report include my prices or customer data?
No. Reports carry your email, company name, the screen you were on, and your browser details — never your catalog, costs, prices, or customer records.
How do I get a reply?
We reply by email to the address on your Pricebookr account. Reply to that email to keep the thread going. We answer every support email within one business day (Monday to Friday, US Central time), on every plan.
Can I send feedback if my trial has expired?
Yes. Feedback works on a locked account, from the Tell us what went wrong link on the subscribe screen.
What if I'd rather just email you?
Email [email protected] any time. The in-app form is faster mainly because it attaches your browser and screen details for you.
