A pricebook (tier) holds its own price for every item — so one "1/2-inch elbow" can be $6 retail and $3.90 wholesale without duplicate entries.
Managing pricebooks
In Settings → Pricebooks, create pricebooks (Retail, Wholesale, Field…), rename them, set the default, or toggle Jobber sync per book. Each item carries a price per pricebook, set manually or by that book's markup schedule.
Who sees what
You add people by inviting them by email — see Invite your team for that. Once someone has joined, grant them access per pricebook on the Members tab. Field techs can see the Field list but not Wholesale; inside sales sees Wholesale. Admins see everything. This is access control Jobber can't do — which is why the master price book lives in Pricebookr.
Pricebook access is granted after they join, not on the invitation, so a new member sees nothing beyond their role's defaults until you tick the boxes.
Hiding costs
Each member also has a Cost toggle. Uncheck it and that member sees only the price to charge — unit cost, markup, and margin are hidden. Admins always see cost.
Cost visibility is set on the invitation and follows the role — field techs start with it off — so a tech never sees cost even briefly. Change it here any time afterward.
