You can permanently delete your organization yourself from Settings → Company → Danger zone. Deletion removes everything — catalog, pricebooks, markup schedules, version history, snapshots, Trash, audit trail, team access, and your Jobber connection — and it cannot be undone. There is no restore from Trash, a snapshot, or version history, because those are deleted too.
Before you delete: keep a copy of your catalog
If you need a copy, export before deleting. An admin can use Catalog → Export to download CSV, QuickBooks, or Housecall Pro files. Export remains available after cancellation for organizations that previously subscribed. A free trial that never subscribed does not include export, even after it expires. See Billing and trials.
How to delete
- Sign in as an admin. Only admins can delete the organization.
- Open Settings and scroll to Danger zone.
- Optionally tell us why you're leaving — pick a reason, and add anything else in the box. If you switched to another tool we'll ask which one. Every part of this is optional and none of it holds up the deletion; skip it and the next step works the same.
- Type your company name exactly as it appears, then click Delete organization and confirm.
What happens when you delete
- Billing stops. Any active Stripe subscription is cancelled first — you won't be charged again. Already-paid amounts follow the refund terms in the Terms of Service.
- Jobber is disconnected. We tell Jobber the app is disconnected. Products already in Jobber stay in Jobber — deletion never reaches into your Jobber account's data.
- All organization data is deleted. Catalog, pricebooks, prices, rules, history, snapshots, audit log, and team memberships. The one thing we keep is described below.
- Team sign-ins end. Teammates whose only Pricebookr organization was this one have their user accounts deleted too. A teammate who also belongs to another organization keeps their account and that organization. Any invitations you sent that nobody has accepted are cancelled — those links stop working.
- You're signed out everywhere, immediately.
What we keep, and what we don't
If you answered the "why are you leaving" question, we keep that answer: the reason you picked, anything you typed, your company name, and a summary of the account as it stood — plan, how long you'd been with us, number of users, how many items were in the catalog, and whether Jobber was connected. We read it to work out what to fix.
We do not keep your email address on that record. It reaches us once, on the notification sent the moment you delete, so we can reply if you asked us something — after that there is nothing on file linking the answer back to you. Everything else in this article is deleted as described, and your catalog, prices, and version history are not part of that feedback record. See the Privacy Policy for how long the rest is held.
Skipping the question changes none of the above except that there's no answer to keep.
What deletion is not for
- Too many reminder emails? Use the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any trial reminder — no need to delete anything.
- Done with the trial but might come back? An expired trial does not delete your catalog. Subscribe later to resume using it; a never-subscribed trial does not unlock export.
- Just cancelling a paid plan? Use Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Billing stops at the end of the period you've already paid for; your account, catalog and history all stay, and you can restart before it ends.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Why, and what to do |
|---|---|
| No Danger zone in Settings | You're not an admin of this organization. Ask an admin to delete it, or email [email protected] from your account address. |
| Company name doesn't match — type it exactly to confirm deletion. | The confirmation must match your company name character for character. Copy it from the top bar if unsure. |
| You'd rather we do it | Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you, per the Privacy Policy. |
