Mobile privacy & permissions

Location
Manual clock punches can record location when permission is granted. If your company enables location timers and you separately opt in on your phone, Pricebookr detects arrivals and departures near assigned service visits during your clocked-in shift, including when the app is closed or not in use. Location evidence, timestamp, accuracy, assigned visit and timer decisions are associated with your signed-in account and stored for time review and audit. This does not automatically start or end your payroll shift. You can disable location timers or revoke permission in phone settings. Continuous location updates are not registered. When you take or attach a job photo, the app may also record where the photo was taken, with its accuracy, and store it with the photo to place equipment on the property's site map. Locations more than 500 meters from the property are discarded.
Photos and videos
Camera and microphone access let you capture job photos and videos with sound. Optional library and photo-location access let you find media captured near a service address. Matching runs locally on your phone. Only media you explicitly select is uploaded to your company record. A photo's location, when kept, now goes up with the photo (see Location above). Videos and photos sent to Prycey carry no location. Uploaded photos and videos can be associated with customers, properties, jobs and equipment. Moving media to the recycle bin is reversible and is not permanent erasure. You can choose files manually instead of using address matching, and revoke permissions in phone settings.
Retention
Company records and linked time evidence follow the retention and deletion provisions in our Privacy Policy. Unlinked raw location evidence older than 30 days is scrubbed; time-linked and review evidence may remain for audit. A photo's location is kept for as long as the photo is. Account deletion may retain company-owned service records or records required by law. We explain applicable retention when processing a deletion request.
