# Manage your trial and subscription

An administrator manages the organization's subscription in **Settings → Billing**. Billing applies to the company currently selected in the top bar.

## What the 14-day trial includes

Build your catalog, import from Jobber or CSV, enter costs, set up pricebooks and markup schedules, invite your team, and review history. You can prepare the pricebook before subscribing.

**Pushing prices to Jobber and exporting files require a paid plan.** Connecting Jobber or importing its catalog does not turn on those paid actions.

## Choose a plan and billing interval

1. Open **Settings → Billing** and choose to subscribe.
2. Review the plan and monthly or annual billing option. Starter supports up to 10 members; Standard includes 50 members with additional seats billed separately.
3. Check the displayed amount and complete Stripe Checkout.

**Subscribing ends the free trial and billing starts immediately.** Annual billing charges for the year upfront; review the total before confirming. Your current subscription and billing period appear on the Billing card.

## Update billing details

Use **Manage billing** to open Stripe's billing portal. If the card shows **payment past due**, update your payment method there. Pricebookr allows access while Stripe retries a past-due subscription.

## Cancel or keep your subscription

1. Click **Cancel subscription** on the Billing card.
2. Optionally share a reason, then confirm cancellation.
3. Check the displayed end date. Access continues through the period already paid for.

Before that date, **Keep my subscription** reverses the scheduled cancellation. Canceling billing does not delete the organization, catalog, pricebooks, or history. Permanent deletion is a separate action under [Settings → Danger zone](https://www.pricebookr.com/docs/delete-your-organization).

## After a trial or subscription ends

An expired trial retains your catalog, but continuing to use the app requires a subscription. A trial that never subscribed cannot export. If your organization previously subscribed, catalog export remains available after cancellation; an admin can use it to keep a copy of the data.

## Troubleshooting

- **No billing controls:** ask an admin of the current organization to manage its subscription.
- **Push or export asks you to subscribe:** importing and pricing are trial features; sending prices out is a paid action. Check the company selected in the top bar and its Billing card.
- **The trial expired before you decided:** subscribe to continue with the existing catalog instead of creating another account.
- **A charge or status looks wrong:** review Manage billing, then contact [hello@pricebookr.com](mailto:hello@pricebookr.com) with the organization name. Never send card details or passwords.
